The hatching finally was winding down, which perhaps was the best thing since the garnet had made her statement. Rumors were already being whispered despite the mostly happy scene of the hatching so far. Weyrfolk suddenly seemed to look at each other and wonder; who was it among them that had dared to harm dragon eggs? This was at the time of Fall, if they lost a dragonet, Garnet or no...it wasn't something many wanted to consider.
With two eggs left from Majoriith's clutch, and the one from Moth's still left to hatch, all eyes were on the rocking pair from the gold. Little bit by bit the din of the hatching sands quieted as The Dragon began to hatch. It wanted out now. There was much going on, much to be seen, much to take part in, much to try and fix. A part of the dragonet inside was slightly worried, wondering just how it would do in that world, but the comfort and safety of its egg was becoming stifling now. Stifling, and lonely.
Finally breaking free with almost a sigh, the green hatchling spread her wings and shook them out. Okay, step one, hatch out of that egg is complete. Looking around the green narrowed her gaze onto the Forgotten Knight egg, moving over to it as it started to rock more and more fervently. Was it hatching too? Would that mean she wouldn't be alone right now? Would she have someone she could trust in?
Tilting her head delicately as she sat down to wait, The Dragon green crooned softly when the other egg finally snapped open to reveal a blue. Dazed somewhat, The Forgotten Knight blue yawned and then ruffled his wings, eyes sweeping from one side to the other, the blue nudged the green closer under his wing despite the protesting growl from The Dragon. She could handle herself, if he wanted to protect her then do so, but she did not need to be coddled.
Snorting, the blue relented, taking a small step away. It wouldn't be long before he was back near her again she knew, but for now she felt less restricted. Gaze turning up toward the tall form of their clutchmother, The Dragon crooned at the golden Queen, tail flicking to and fro. They had been the last to hatch, that was clear to both dragonets, and they would impress together, for that was what was best for them.
As one they stepped out toward the candidates, the blue following the green this way and that no matter where she went. So many had been taken, and there was not much left to them, but Theirs were in here somewhere they knew. All of the fighting had been stupid of their siblings, The Dragon felt above it somehow, as if she knew she did not need to fight with them to show her worth. The Forgotten Knight on the other hand was under the impression that he just needed to protect the females.
If the green could roll her eyes, she would have, but she was equally parts touched as well. Nudging the blue's shoulder gently, she parted ways for now with him, moving down one line of the candidates while he walked the other. After a moment they both stopped, and then rainbows swirled in their faceted eyes.
It is time to end this hatching soon Dalrian. Your Aldath is hungry, and I wish to return to my sister's side as soon as possible.
Nymira, there has been much going wrong tonight. You will not turn your Iarynith away. I am fire and wind and fury, and I will do what I must to protect those I love.
JORAH BLUE-DALRIAN *Jilli*
Name: Aldath
Based on: Joras Mormont
Color: Blue
Hex Codes: 597ea8, 2e4759, 0f2f5e, a0b1c4, d9e9fb
Size: 32 feet
Personality: The one thing that Aldath is, is loyal. Or, that is how he tries to be at least. He is just a simple fighter, meant to protect his Queens from harm. He is a male, meant to be lead by others and take charge when the opportunity arises. In many ways, he is a laid-back and thoughtful male. He is kind to all females, and mostly young dragons in general have a fondness in his eyes. On important matters he will be one of those to actually pause and think, listening to all that goes on around him before reporting back to those he serves. Aldath isn't the sort to be the one in charge though, instead preferring the second or third spot. In all things though he is kind, subservient and only follows those he deems worthy of his loyalty. He is wise for his tender age as well, and will only grow more so as he gets older.
DANY GREEN-NYMIRA *Serah*
Name: Iarynith
Based on: Daenarys
Color: Green
Hex Codes: 95b7a2, 385744, 88b89b, 1d6636, 002b0e, 4ec911
Size: 23 feet
Personality:
Iarynith is a fighter, but she is also a lady. Where many of her female siblings find difficulty riding along that fine line, Iarynith finds that it tends to come naturally to her. Even when she is demanding something, she can do it eloquently with words that flow as beautiful as her Sub-Queen sister may speak. Yet, they will always hold a far darker and more obvious promise. Do as she says, and it will be for the best. Iarynith fights only for what she loves though, and what she strives to have, and that is her home. Home is a big thing to Iarynith. It is where she rests and where she has friends, it is where she is connected to and where she day-dreams of when off on adventures. She can be quite the stubborn green as well, and working with her can be difficult depending on what it is. However, she will always be gentle with her family and clutch-mates, and young creatures as well. Though she knows she will never be a mother, she does love the idea of mothering. In fact, it would be no surprise if she tries to covet a firelizard clutch or two in order to watch over them as they harden and hatch. As she grows she will learn to get what she wants in more subtle ways, but for now she can be almost overly obvious. Iarynith is fascinated with dragons and their kin, even as one she enjoys hearing stories of old and learning all she can about those around her. She does have a temper though, and she will lash out quickly if need be. This temper is one not to take lightly though, and when she decides on wanting something, you really should just get out of her way and let her have it.
