Nyssa was bored.
That was never a good thing. Boredom meant idleness, and idleness meant more time to plot. Not that she couldn't plot while on the go mind you, it was just it was a lot harder to have those intricate plans when someone was asking her questions. Ugh, the people in this weyr. She'd met so many that were just so. So. Content. With what they had. Nyssa was never content. She wanted power, she wanted respect and she wanted to rule. If she'd stayed with the Hold, she would have made her way into Lady Holder eventually, but Queen Rider, no, no Senior Weyrwoman Nyssa, that had a nice ring to it. Besides, what did those prissy little no bodies know about real power? She'd kiss up to whoever she needed to in order to get power over both weyrs if she had to. It was about time Pern came under one Weyrwoman, and that would be her.
One thing at a time though, she needed a Queen.
That was partially why Nyssa found herself exploring some of the back tunnels of the weyr, lesser known. Knowledge was power and she knew everything there was to know about Impression. Warm, loving thoughts, positive energy, no doubt - but there was no guarantee about what exactly one might Impress. It was the lack of control that bothered her in this case, she couldn't do anything about it. Nothing would make her more Queen material or less. But what she could do was kiss up to the senior weyrwoman and talk to her about what made a good Queen rider. She was going to get that sharding Gold. One way or another.
Pausing in her wandering, Nyssa took the moment to lean against the wall, stretching out her legs, reajusting her sharding shirt where it had ridden up over that sharding bust of hers, even bending down to lift the hem of her skirt and tuck it into her belt on one side, leaving her with much more room to move. Well there was no one out there to see her, and she needed the movement. Everything was dark and musty and windy here, but shard it all she was going to know this weyr better than people that were born there by the time she was done.

Come on, R'vin! What /are/ we doing here again? I thought you were going to meet with the Weyrwoman, not sneak in to Terlis and skulk around their lower caverns like some spy! Oh wait, that's right, you /are/ a spy. The blue was less than happy as he lashed his tail about in irritation. his rider was off in the lowerr caverns when he should have been top side trying to find Gl'wein or the Weyrwoman herself. Of course, it would be more productive to go through Gl'wein first.
R'vin simply walked through the tunnels, quiet and observant. He noticed someoen who definitely did not quite fit here, though. A lovely young woman. Hrmmm...
Don't you even think about it Mine! the dragon snapped, but too late. Ri'vin stepped forward. "Hello fair maiden. may I ask your name?" he said to her with a rather dashing smile as he leaned up against the wall, observing her. She seemed bored as she wandered about here. Perhaps he could be of some assistance.
Mine! Stop! Don't you dare think those thoughts! I will come and dig my way down tehre and snatch you out if I have t! No! Don't!
Too late. R'vin approached the lovely young woman, Monerae, his bronze firelizard, eyeing the girl with interesting.

Nyssa missed very little. If she missed things, she'd never be as powerful as she fully intended to be. So she heard the soft footfall on the ground behind her, heard the faint scuffle of a man's weight and took the moment to tug her shirt down a little lower over her chest. It never hurt to have a little extra momentum in meetings now did it? Besides it might be the Weyrleader, or some other ranking man. She couldn't resit the urge to say something with her assets, now could she.
Oh but that voice wasn't one she knew..
Turning, Nyssa gave the man a long look, studying him from foot to the top of his head with a calculating, close expression that kept his eyes on her as well. Without looking away, the corners of her lips slowly twitched upwards in an appreciative glance. He was handsome. And such a flatterer. Of course he was lying, she could have been no fair than any other and he'd have still called her that. "Hello yourself, good sir." She grinned, stepping back from him with another cheeky little grin that just screamed trouble. "If you don't know my name, you must not have been here long. My name is Nyssa. Future Weyrwoman of Pern." She practically purred the words, crossing her arms under her chest before tilting her head so that her hair fell over one shoulder as she eyed his knots.
"And your name, bluerider?"
