Zeke
"Good morning, glorious goddess of my heart! It has been far too long since we have been together! Since our every fibre has been meshed and absorbed until we are one."
Mornings were a normal thing for Zeke. After all, a small cothold didn't run itself and they had always supported themselves. There were chores to do, animals to feed and milk and care for and vegetables to care for and dirt to somehow get into every crevice of his body which meant waking up just after dawn, then bathing and maybe sleeping under a tree later. Since coming to the weyr, Zeke actually missed the busy-bodyness of his chores, and thus he'd found things to keep himself busy. He still got up at dawn, and he still managed to get himself sweaty before noon, and currently, he was crooning endearments and rubbing his cheek against a mug of klah.
If there was one true-- No, no, Klah wasn't his true love. That kind of love would only end in tragedy. Though they would become one and he would forever remember that slightly bitter/sweet taste on his tongue, death would part them. He wasn't sure he was ready to be a widow at like... Nineteen. If he wasn't in love by twenty four, then maybe he would consider marriage to klah as a whole. But then, when other people drank it, would that be cheating? He wasn't sure his heart could take that sort of wound constantly-- Food!
"Good morning, glorious goddess of my heart! It has been far too long since we have been together!" He grinned at the piece of fruit he was currently talking to, sinking his teeth into it with an almost disgustingly inappropriate moan. What? He was starving! He was a growing boy! You couldn't fault him for needing food. Food. Glorious food. And then a bath, maybe, if they didn't have lessons or more chores to do. Maybe he could help one of the riders with their dragons! Or someone with their flitt, that would be great. He'd enjoy that.
After food. It was, after all, early enough apparently that other people were still trickling in for food when Zeke was making inappropriate noises over his second plate of food, watching for anyone he could ambush about their dragon.
