[atrb=width,100%,true][atrb=cellPadding,4,true][atrb=colspan,5] The Darkness That Followed | The Long Story- | An Obsidianrider named Noita started to gain followers that believed the mutations should be able to have their own Weyr where they would be safe from persecution. Helping the nephew of Sollace Hold's Lord murder his uncle and assume the old man's position, a pact was made in blood...and The Obsidian Rebellion officially began.
Thread followed later in that turn of 201, a good two to three turns early. It was here that The Rebellion started to make their move. Little by little the stole livestock or took candidates that would have been heading for Trelis. The Weyr could only watch in frustration, unable to do anything more than catch brief glimpses of the elusive riders they were able to spot. In the Spring of 202 though, it didn't matter. Struck by Thread while trying to help an injured blue, Trelis lost Loraketh and the only available Goldrider left was Iirla of Izanycorth.
Knowing that this was the time to strike, The Obsidian Rebellion started to reveal themselves more and more, gaining new members from those that were unhappy with the changes in not only Trelis, but the other Weyrs of Pern. At the same time, S'vrin and Ar'rex did the same but against the mutations. A war was on the winds, and Thread seemed to be the least of Pern's worries. Torn between two sides, Trelis split in half, one side frustrated and against the other. In the Summer of 202 the fighting finally started to break out, and it was not The Rebellion that won.
Broken and defeated for now, they fled to the mountains in the Southern Continent, regrouping with the help of the nearby mining village of Rindell. Back in Trelis, S'vrin and Ar'rex's riders took control of the Weyr. The rest of Pern was forced to choose a side, and many chose to go against the mutations.
The only thing is, this is only the beginning....
| The Short Story- | - A fight finally broke out between the two groups and much of Pern either chose a side or sat back and watched for the outcome.
- With little riders left and the majority scattered around the planet, Noita brought the Rebellion to an Island named Rindell close to the Southern Continent.
- Now Pern waits to see if the rebels will back down or if another fight will break out, or perhaps if there is more to the story than originally thought.

[atrb=width,100%,true][atrb=cellPadding,4,true][atrb=colspan,5] Sunrises....and Sunsets | The Long Story- | In the days that followed the Great Dragon Battle, things grew quiet...almost too quiet. In fact, it could hardly be said that the following ease was a good thing. However, that's how it was taken. In Trelis Weyr Topaz Kayath and Gold Izanycorth both rose in flight, the prior choosing a Gather to be her scene and the latter flew not long after. The Bronze Coziryth of S'vrin was mauled during the WeyrQueen's flight though, sending his rider into a life without a bonded. The change that was found in the now named Sevrin however was one that was welcomed. It seemed that finally the man that was once known before his sister's death had finally appeared again.
In the Rebellion though, there was a different story brewing. Noita withdrew from her rebels, allowing her Knights to deal with the riders and unbonded people. Finding themselves in the middle of a drought with little prey to feed themselves and the dragons with though, the riders took to hunting along the Southern coastline. Southern and Bay Weyr dragons quickly turned to running the rebels off though, and less and less riders came to join the cause. In this all someone did end up coming though, Inali the once Senior Weyrwoman of Trelis Weyr with her young Hear All Dragon daughter Inoria. Their plans were not for the best though.
Back on The Island, Kayath and Izanycorth's clutches proved to provide a grand affair with not only more of the mutations showing up, but another Topaz joining them and the first Bronze to impress to a female rider. It was clear soon after though that despite the seemingly happy atmosphere, there was problems bubbling beneath the surface here too. Eventually a meeting was held, and two things besides the normal switches and wing-talk that were planned happened. The first was the appearance of D'tri of Topaz Chahaturth, returned from The Rebellion. The second was Weyrwoman Iirla's sudden feinting.
With the Rebellion there were events taking place as well, four amethysts clutched on the sands, and the rebels finally decided to try and take back their make-shift home from the Knights and Noita. Led by Nymari, a small group, but slowly growing, has been meeting to discuss how they can gain trust and overthrow the unfair system that even as mutations they must now follow. Among the group is Inali, but also Eiko the Lieutenant Major in the Rebellion. Another plan is in the works though, beneath that of Nymari's, the question is what.
And finally back in Trelis Weyr, Chahaturth has risen to fly and no doubt lay her first clutch...and Iirla has not only fallen ill, but is dieing. Trelis Weyr is soon to be with a clutch, but without a Goldrider and Weyrwoman.
| The Short Story- | - When Topaz Kayath and Gold Izanycorth rose, Trelis was blessed with another round of dragonets...and was freed from S'vrin's hold.
- The Rebellion has been growing frustrated with its command, and the first clutch to grace the sands is from Fighters which certainly didn't help matters.
- D'tri returned to Trelis and his Topaz Chahaturth rose, but as Trelis prepares for another clutch, it says good bye to it's last Goldrider Iirla and her dragon Izanycorth.
