Appearance: Her stark blue eyes stare out at you from under dark eyebrows which arch as they move further from the center of his face and are often raised or moved in expression. Red lips sit below a long, narrow nose. Her top lip is thin and her bottom lip thicker. Her eyes are black rimmed almond shapes while her hair is long and black. Her skin is a tanned color. She is thin with a slight hourglass figure, though it is not overly exaggerated. She often likes to show off her figure however and takes to wearing tight fitting clothes every chance she gets. When she is dressing for an event, she'll usually wear a corset dress in red and black, the only colors she truly ever seems to like.

Her seemingly slow gliding steps give her a slow, oily smooth quality to her movements. The tilt of her head says everything about her supposed superiority. She carries herself, as she says, like a lady, a real lady. Her expression is often on the darker, more stern side unless she happens to be focusing on something else for the moment, which may just bring out the softer side to her features.

She typically keeps her hands held at her sides or one resting on her waist where she can easily reach her belt knife. The way she looks at people is almost accusatory most of the time, though perhaps that is her own perception of the way she looks at people... Her fingers are long and nimble while her arms are not entirely slender, having muscle built up from years of riding and working hard with her dragoness and with her wing. Her body in and of itself has those tightly corded if somewhat wiry muscling. She really doesn't like the idea of losing her feminine figure in the least, though that won't stop her from working hard. Her hands are rough and calloused from the time in the riding straps.

Personality:
Ambitious beyond all reason, Nantali has her ideals and her ideas and she will fight for them. Though she may not necessarily fight. She likes to get others to work for her and coordinate strikes. But don't get me wrong, she isn't opposed to getting her hands dirty - in fact... She just likes to wait for hte most opportune moment to strike. And she likes even more to be able to create those moments. She loves control to the point it could ultimately prove to be her biggest weakness - her need for control. Nantali considers herself to be extremely beautiful and extremely desirable and likes to try to use this to her advantage as much as she can. She doesn't usually pursue relationships or give anyone too much attention in any sort of romantic way unless there is something she can gain from it.

Casualties are to be expected and while they may be mourned, there is no reason why she should feel bad for them. They were simply what they were. Nothing is more important than the goal. In fact only she and her dragoness are more important than their goals as they must survive in order to obtain them.

While the Rebellion is fighting for fair of mutation and normal colors... Nantali has her own war she is waging in the background and one that has been raging in the core of her heart for Turns upon turns. the one for equality of colors. Her green is as good as any queen, though she doesn't clutch... so why could she not be a leader as well? Besides that Nantali herself sees herself as a wonderful strategist - which is not too far from the truth. The problem with her views however, is that she does not give everyone the same importance as herself, though she does view them without putting any particular importance on ranks that a dragon or wher was born into, what craft, what hall, what position in Weyr you are subjected to. In this, she may be considered rather kind.

In fact, Nantali is very kind to those that she feels deserve a better status than that of which they were given or that they were born into. If these people are willing to follow along with her ideals. Otherwise she may just patronize you to a point, whether you know or understand the reason or not. She really doesn't care. But she isn't going to tell you. That's for sure. You're either going to have to try to confront her and get her to tell you or otherwise you may have to try to figure it out for yourself. This may be easier said than done, however as she is pretty good about not letting on as to what it is she is tormenting the person over.

She always sees herself as having the best intentions, and thus being justified in all her actions, though this is hardly the case as there are many things she has and will continue to do that are less than acceptable and more likely to cause harm than good to those around her. And yet she brushes it off into those casualty categories. Her ideals are all important to her, even more so than her supposed love for... anyone honestly. She doesn't look for love nor does she desire it. Thought she has stumbled upon it a few times and every time she has let it go in order to further pursue her own goals, often stepping on and using those men who she had, at the very least, claimed to love. She has had her fair share of trouble due to this, of course as not many are going to take well to being used. But she has found her ways around it. Usually by finding allies of some sort.

An ally she is more likely to stick with so long as their views remain the same, but she has no problems with stabbing her supposed allies in the back should she get in her way for any reason.

Nantali learns quickly from her mistakes and has a sharp cunning and intelligence that she uses in her plots and plans. She has a tendency to put herself in the service of someone of power in order to have an in and then plots against them. It is honestly this that attracted her to the Rebellion as she found that her goals were not going to be so easily obtained in the traditional Weyrs. But things are different in the Rebellion and power is not as well settled as it is in the long standing Weyrs.

She has a bit of a soft spot for children, but this is most likely due to the fact that she sees them as easier to mold and shape to her ideals. She would like to have a child of her own if only to raise them to follow in her foot steps. Though she does not truly want children of her own necessarily. Due to the impression and force pushed on her while still a Holder's child to marry well and have a good family, she avoids and despises the idea of following through on whatever it was her family wanted of her. She does not like to do what people expect of her unless she feels she will gain something of it and even then, she values her freedom too much to let herself be truly tied down.

However, she still wants someone to love and to love her, but she doesn't like to admit this to even herself. She desires to have someone who will support her and help her in her plans. Someone who will stand by her no matter what is going on or is happening. However, she does not hold out much hope and is often not even interested in anything more than a one night stand. Be wary if she ever agrees to more or gives more. This is most likely in her own self-interest as she does not do things like this if there isn't something for her to gain from it.

She has highly manipulative tendencies in most cases and will use whatever means necessary to bend a person to her will. She has few redeeming qualities and what redeeming qualities she might have had, such as her intelligence, have been twisted into a rather darker purpose.

Under this layer of darkness lies a person with a good heart who has let ambition hide who she really is. There was once a sweetness that lie here. In fact, growing up, Nantali wouldn't have hurt a living creature. What changed her was the expectations she was subjected to and the way she saw people being treated. And it was only made worse when she saw how the fighting dragons just fell in line to the metallics. She has always disliked inequality. From there, it turned into her own personal war. One that, if she were honest, she feels will never be won. She wants to be valued just as much as anyone. In fact, she wants everyone to be of equal value to everyone else. No more of "I'm just a drudge" or.. "I'm just a blind." Hearing such things breaks her heart. No one is just anything. And yet she still turns on them. She can't express her feelings well and to show such caring would be weakness. An extreme display of weakness. Such things are to be saved for when one is in private. She deeply needs someone to care and to share these things with, but she would never admit it.
