Valoria is a rather tall young woman standing five foot six inches, but she has a small build only weighing one hundred and seven pounds. She is nineteen with shoulder length, light brown hair and blue eyes. She Likes to wear her hair down, but will tie it up for special occasions. She typically wears short sleeved shirts and work pants, thinking them more comfortable than the dresses and skirts her parents had always wanted her to wear all the time. There is one article of clothing that she hadn’t left behind. She still has the scarf her grandmother had made for her, it is black with white floral designs on it.
Personality:
Valoria is a very sweet and loving person, she really is, she just has a hard time making friends because she is so very shy. She would rather hide away and never have anything to do with anyone, than go out and party with the rest of the Weyr. But there is more to her than just the shy loner most people get to see. Once a person really gets to know her, once a person becomes her friend, they see a side of her that most people wouldn’t believe possible. She truly is a sweet loving person whose smile seems to be brimming with pure, innocent, child-like joy that seems to have no bounds. Her laugh, despite the slight wolfish bark that accompanies it, can be quite infectious and is something that not many get to experience.
Whenever Valoria is surrounded by her friends she becomes an almost completely different person. She becomes fun-loving and really playful, and above all, more talkative. Whenever she first meets a person they will be lucky to get two words out of her, but once they get to know her better, and join that very select circle of people that have become her friends she is relaxed and just, happy. Above all, she is loyal, and will never betray a friend, no matter what pain she has to suffer through, she will always do her best to make sure her friends, and their secrets, are safe. But this loyalty and love that she gives to the people she calls friends, isn’t a guaranteed thing. If, for whatever reason, someone loses her trust and her loyalty, they will be hard pressed to get it back. Once it’s gone, it’s near impossible to get it back, no matter what you try.

History:
Valoria’s father’s side of the family has lived in Rindell Village for many generations, all of them farming the same land that the generation before them had, where as her mother’s side of the family had been living in Rindell for only a few turns before she was born, so the two of them had practically grown up together. You wouldn’t really know it though, not with the way Silvoria had treated Valadin for so long while he was courting her. It had taken the man almost five turns to finally get Silvoria to say yes, but she had, and that’s when their lives together really began.
Silvoria married and lived with Valadin for nearly three turns before they finally had their first, and only, child. A daughter they named Valoria. They loved their daughter very much, but when it became apparent that she had trouble socializing, they sent the girl to live with Silvoria’s aunt Solara, in Fort Weyr, where they hopped the girl would have a better chance at learning how to be sociable. Every day they would write each other, sending the letters back and forth via Valadin’s brown firelizard. Valoria kept her parents informed of everything that happened to her, including the most exhilarating thing of her life.
It had been almost two turns since Valoria had come to stay with her great aunt when something happened that would change her life forever. Solara had taken her niece to see something she had never seen before, a dragon hatching. Because Solara had been an elderly woman at the time, they had stayed in the first row of the stands. Valoria seemed to have lost her ability to speak as soon as the first dragonet hatched into a large bronze dragon. The entire thing went without really any incidents, except for the fact that one particularly friendly blue accidently mauled a few of the male candidates as he tried to find his rider.
Thankfully for Valoria none of the hatchlings had gone between, which was something she had learned about, but had never seen. The hatching had come down to the last two eggs, both of which seemed to be taking their sweet time in hatching. Valoria thought that they wanted to make a grand entrance, but most of the people there had believed them to be duds, and had started to leave when a high-pitched squealing sound came from the sands. Valoria had jumped to her feet at the sound, scared but also intrigued all at the same time by that single sound, and it was that sound that would lead her to a new life.
A rather large green hatchling had come tumbling out of its shell, and had rolled right into the other egg on the sands, causing spider-web cracks to form all over its dark shell. Valoria gasped as she watched, first one paw, the a head, and then the rest of a small green hatchling come spilling out and landing on the hot hatching sands with an indignant huffing noise. It seems that my sister is not very happy with me Valoria Mine. I think she wants to hurt your Minoath! Valoria stared wide-eyed at the larger dragonet, amazed at what had happened to a simple farmer’s daughter like herself.
Valoria gasped and ran as fast as she could to the hot sands where the smaller green had started harassing the hatchling that had spoken to her. Enough, leave her alone! She didn’t mean it! She was practically screaming as she rushed to her dragon’s defense. The little green hissed and stalked away to find her own rider when the seventeen turn old placed herself protectively in front of Minoath. She didn’t turn around till she was sure that there would be no more fighting between the two sisters, and knelt down in front of Minoath, and wrapped her arms around the green’s neck as gently as she could.
Fort Weyr had sent Valoria and Minoath away as soon as the green dragoness was old enough, because apparently the accident that had happened on the hatching sands that day, had not been forgiven or forgotten by the other green. Valoria had been kindly asked where she would like to go, and she had chosen the Weyrhold in Rindell. When she had been granted her wish to be transferred to Rindell, she was overjoyed at being able to show her parents her lovely new dragoness, but things weren’t as lovely as she had wanted them to be, no, the Weyrhold was much smaller than she had believed. Which meant that life in Rindell was going to be rather tuff for one of the newest pairs there.
Minoath

Minoath

Size:

Color Codes:

Appearance:
Minoath has large wings that are rather long for a dragon of her stature, and long slender legs. In all she looks a bit serpentine, and a little ungainly. Because of her long slender legs, she is a bit clumsy, but thankfully for her, she has a long tail that helps to keep her upright instead of falling down all the time. She is well above the average size for a green, which adds to her slender, feminine appearance.
Personality:
Minoath is a sweet, curious green with a knack for sniffing out trouble. She is quick in flight and sharp of wit...though her memory is not the greatest ever seen in a dragon. She loves meeting people, and enjoys spending time out and about. Her favorite activity is to go swimming at the beach, and her second favorite activity is to help Valoria with whatever the young woman has in mind.
Mind-Voice:
Come now Valoria, let us go find something fun to do today!
Minoath's voice can actually be quite sweet, like honey fresh from the hive. It can also be quite harsh on a person's mind, and her voice has actually been described as someone taking some dull daggers and driving them into a person’s brain. Thankfully this only happens when the female is especially upset. Otherwise it is surprisingly gentle.
