Name:
Pronunciation:
Age: Twenty-Two Turns
Season Born In: Spring
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Pansexual
Appearance:
Baha isn't that intimidating of a figure, actually truth be told he's well in the gray area of average for most things. The man has a lean build, much more slim than both of his acting fathers, in fact he nearly looks like he could pass as his uncle's kid. He never found it a priority to gain much muscle mass, and especially with his chosen craft of Star-tracking, well shards, you don't need much muscle for that. He has long limbs and a tight torso, and despite only being around 5'8" in height the man does look like he should be a bit taller that what he actually measures up to be. That could be blamed on the way he carries himself, though. For what he lacks in muscle mass he certainly makes up for in his posture. Baha keeps his back straight, his head held high, and slouching is just too unbecoming, or that's the sort of air the man gives off.
His face is angular enough, a squarish jawline and a heavy brow paired with that straight nose and just slightly oversized ears completes the general structure. His skin tone is naturally a bit on the olive side, and if he did spend more time outdoors he might even develop something of a healthy, tanned glow, but starcrafting usually happens at night, and during the daylight hours usually the youth is shut inside. His eyes are a pale gray-ish blue, and shards, his hair. The mass has incredible volume, and the dark brown mane of hair is a mess of unruly waves and curls. Bahari keeps it contained in the barest of ways, usually with a simple tie or, if he can manage, he knots it up all on it's own. It is kept long, because Bahari does prefer that over anything else, and when he wants he can manage to make it look rather well-kept. One thing Bahari absolutely abhors and won't tolerate at all is facial hair, nope, no thank you, he likes to be kept shaven clean.
On the subject of clothing, really Bahari is a bit fussy when it comes to what he's wearing. He isn't fond of spoiled clothing unless the job calls for it. He prefers function over form, but he also acknowledges that looking sloppy just because you can isn't proper. Sure, he has plenty of ink-stained clothing, and he'll probably be seen in a great deal of that when he's charting out things, but when social situations call for sprucing hings a bit up he had no problem adjusting into something more presentable.
Personality:
The crafter is kind of a brat, that's the first thing that's worth mentioning. Bahari will be the first to snicker at anyone getting handed some misfortune, and easily the first to try to twist things so that he could get something out of it. He's an intelligent person, and has a soft spot for learning, but he's also a braggart and a tease. He tends to pick on people when he admires them, and finds that anyone who can deal with his attitude is worth keeping around. He is not truly be as abrasive and holier-than-though as he first comes across as, but he finds that as a good buffer for those who simply want to have token friends who are there only for looks than for actual commitment. Bahari adores social games of that sort, of parading around and making acquaintances, of tethering himself with allies and playing the field. If cornered about such things he'll simply wave it off as keeping his mind sharp while he isn't busy in his craftwork.
The star crafter is a bit slippery and hard to nail down when he's being a little social butterfly, he'll work any situation he finds himself in and play his hand close to his chest. Those he considers friends often do see a side of him that not many can claim to know all that well. In the company of comrades he loosens up a bit, lets his hair down, and can laugh about things he said or did that were outright lies or completely off the mark. Bahari may like to poke fun at anyone he can manage (and do a damned well job of disguising it as a compliment), but he's also capable of turning that inwardly when he wants to. He's willing to lend a hand to friends if they need any aid with things, but he also expects something in return. Bahari is a firm believer in the fact that there's never any free lunches, and that in order to get something there's some sort of give, whether apparent or not, that needs to be returned.
While the man likes to play up the whole posh portion, the posture, the way he interacts with people, and usually his appearance, he has a mouth on him that is scandalous. His use of language can be downright terrifying when the time calls for it, and he can probably find a way to make any adult blush and fumble with their words and carry on like he was speaking about the weather. As mentioned before, Bahari is intelligent, but he also favors to use that intelligence for poor reasons. The only time when he's really known not to be thinking straight is when he's angry. Usually he can snark anything away, but when things are messed with that he genuinely cares about, like his family, his defenses will switch on and he'll do what he can to defend that--even if it means squaring up against someone much stronger than him.
The romantic side of him is equally as frustrating as anything else. He loves complex issues (as seen by his adoration of the math correlation to tracking constellations), so of course anything romantic should be equally as complex to keep him interested. He's no blushing virgin, but that doesn't mean he's outwardly lewd about anything either. If he wants something, or someone, he'll play the game of cat and mouse until he grows bored of it. Snagging his attention isn't that hard, if he finds something interesting or new he's likely to bite, but keeping his attentions is something else entirely.

Location: Trelis
Rank: Weyrling
History:
Like his brothers, Bahari was the result of a surrogate mother. The woman who birthed him did so out of the goodness of her little heart for the family that wanted him so badly, and while she was happy she could provide that, she didn't stick around to be a main factor in the boy's life. The people who raised the boy were dragonriders in Trelis Weyr, notably the weyrmated pair of K'jell, a bluerider, and B'kari, a greenrider. Shards, Bakari's farmer-craft brother, Fakhri, had been around enough that he might as well could've been called the third father of the whole batch. Bahari was the third born and the last of the brood, the first being Kjors, two turns behind him had been Joskull, and finally a turn after him came Bahari. Simply put the child, being the youngest, did get a bit spoiled. It was no secret that B'kari adored to spoil all his children, but Bahari got most of the favor from Fakhri.
Growing up was notably nothing terrible or difficult to handle. Bahari liked to tag after Joskull and give Kjors as much grief as humanly possible, like any group of active, annoying brothers do. His adolescence was spent being adored by his fathers, and being taught various things from his uncle. The boy had a thirst for knowledge, and when he wasn't roughhousing or being, let's face it, a dick to his brothers he was often doodling up things in his spare time or chalking out things that were hastily wiped away and dismissed whenever someone came peeking in close enough to ask questions about it. Bahari had a bit of a mouth on him, and certainly enjoyed being somewhat of a brat.
Interest in a craft came a bit late for the boy, he had considered acting as a candidate for a bit, but his attentions had been snagged by a few rumors about some interesting, vague craft that was being practiced in Sollace Hold. Starcraft, oh he liked that. He liked the sound of that and he liked the idea of being able to chart things in the skies. The thought was stored in the back of his mind, and finally came to light when he was fifteen turns old. Then he's get into a craft, because honestly taking that long was kind of a crime. It just so happened that Joskull had voiced the decision to go elsewhere to apprentice in glass-smith that Bahari decided to pipe up and voice his own choice.
Before actually setting out for his new destination, Sollace Hold, B'kari had pressed it upon all of his children to Impress a firelizard from one of the clutches that was the result of their parents' 'lizards. The result of that was Baha bonding with a little blue he, after a while, named Hatsya. The blue turned out to be a good investment, seeing the method of keeping in touch with his family, his parents and his brothers, was capable through using the little bugger as a messenger.
Apprenticeship turned out to be thrilling. Baha adored to learn, and the method of mapping out the constellations and tracking movements of the stars across the skies (and the math involved with that) was something he rightfully enjoyed. During the turns he grew, he loved (there had been a feisty fisher-girl and a demanding woodcrafter-boy, just to name two of his more notable romances), and he learned plenty. Bahari had a smart mouth on him, and while he didn't get into too much trouble there was plenty of drama to keep him entertained (and writing off some of his more memorable encounters to his brothers).
Quite recently (around a month ago) he finally finished his Apprenticeship and walked the tabled into Journeymanhood. This, of course, came with the option to work abroad. Much to his family's delight the youth opted to continue his work at Trelis Weyr, so it was back home that Bahari went. Formally he had been researched when he stumbled back into the Weyr (a blue had approached him back when he was a kid before he left, but apparently being dubbed as still Searchable was cool). The idea of trying to be a dragonrider is intriguing on it's own, because let's be real, Bahari has spent turns and turns looking up into the skies, to be able to fly through them, shards, what he would give for that.
Craft: Star Craft || Sasscraft
Ranking: Journeyman || master obvs
Strengths: mapping constellations, mathematical tracking and predictions
Weaknesses: the more abstract theories and sciences surrounding it, he doesn't care so much as how stars are made, just that they're already there.
HATSYA
img done by me, pulp~
Name: Hatsya
Pronunciation: ha-tzya
Age: Seven Turns
Type: Firelizard
Rank: Blue
Size: 21"
Color Codes: 4D71A3, 539DC2
Appearance/Personality:
Hatsya is nearly uniform in color. The base coloration of his hide is a dark, desaturated blue, something close to a prussian blue if we want to get technical. The only changes would be the splatter of speckles that cover his head and trail a bit down the length of his neck. Some of the same marks can be found on the area of his wings, just so very slight that they're much more apparent when light is shone through the translucent membranes. His build mimics that of his dam rather than his sire, much more slinky and thin, stretched out and delicate looking rather than buff, bold and muscled. Hatsya definitely isn't a contender when it comes to being fierce or aggressive looking, oh no, the blue has a much more refined look about him and would like to keep it that way, thank you very much.
The blue, since a hatchling, has been a pampered thing, but Bahari also managed to keep a good amount of discipline when dealing with the beast, which churned out a lovely little gentleman. Okay, perhaps that's not wholly true, Hatsya definitely acts like an entitled little shit. He's proper and contained and damn does he expect it from everyone around him. He was trained with very high expectations, and he projects that onto anything he comes into contact with. Hatsya is a loyal thing, and often is found close to his bonded because it's the single human he appears to really approve of. He does very much act above everything, and the only manners he devotes his time to are the ones that he's charged with by his human.
The little bugger is expressive in his motions, shards, you can almost tell when he's rolling his eyes (or the flitt equivalent of such) or huffing about someone acting indecent or lowly. Peasants. All of you, sharding peasants.
AGEASHAKTH
Name: Ageashakth
Pronunciation: ah-geeah-shackth
Age: Hatchling
Rank: Brown
Size: 23 feet
Color Codes: db7134, 544136, 968478
Appearance:
-scarring over muzzle and obvious disfigurement due to injury when first-hatched
-tbd
Personality:
Ageashakth may be tiny, and he may not be what one would think of when the word “Sub-King” comes up, but he makes up for it in personality. Quirky, humorous, and a downright jokester, the brown is not afraid to put himself, and others, at the brunt of his jests and pestering. All in all though, this little guy is smart. Never underestimate him, if only because Ageashakth will be two steps ahead of everyone around him. He knows things, and his rider may not always understand how he comes across information, but he tends to figure out just who to ask to figure out what. This paired with his intelligence is as dangerous a weapon as any Garnet’s talons; and that is the weapon of his choice, his mind.
He can be very blunt, even casual, in his day-to-day conversation, and there really is no filter from mind to mouth. The brown speaks his mind, and he says it in the most simplistic, and yet at times, eloquent of fashions. He won’t be one to beat around the bush when it comes to the most improper of topics though, and the only time he will play with those around him with his mind and jests is when he is trying to prod and get information or prove a point. The one thing that Ageashakth may be known for, from a personality stand point at least, is that he is kind and gentle to females. They are to be protected and to be served in the best of ways, no less…perhaps a bit more.
Mind-Voice (If applicable):
Ageashakth; big name, little body. All the better to fool my “betters” with though. Besides, it’s what you do with it that counts
- his general voice tends to sound a bit haughty, even a little aristocratic
- sarcasm and a certain edge marks most of how he speaks, he prefers a bit of emotion to flavor the sound, although he knows when to deliver things with severity and precision.
