You are too old to be sneaking away from your chores, F'lonMine. "First of all, who are you calling old? And secondly, I'm not sneaking away..." You are not? "No, no, of course not! I'm...taking a break-No...I'm on a treasure hunt. Now, Dyaltith, don't you think that treasure hunting comes before some silly chore? It's not like the task won't be there when I get back..."
As dragon and Rider walked along the riverbank, it was clear the big blue was carefully weighing his options. On the one claw he had a fun morning with His but on the other, His had a job to do...Oh but surely a little fun wasn't going to hurt anything! But at the river, Mine? The beach is where the best things are to be found. "That's why it's called treasure hunting, Dyaltith, you never know what you're going to find and where you'll be when you find it." The dark blue dragon snorted as he eyed the riverbank and the surrounding area. A little look around wasn't going to hurt. Only for a little while, Mine. And with that, he padded off in search of his "treasure".
Who knew what the blue was going to find. Truth be told, F'lon only wanted to escape the camp for a little while to catch a quick nap. So, finding himself a dry patch of ground beneath a tree, F'lon sat with his back against the trunk and let his eyes drift shut, confident that his companions presence would keep any unwanted predators from turning him into a chew toy. "F'lon of Dyltith! You are far too old to be sneaking away from your duties!"
Cadrissa did not sound amused. She sounded sharp, irritated, and strained. Strained. She was also leaning over so far infront of the blue rider her words - loud enough on their own - were practically shouting and her lips were just a hairsbreath from his. Aellieth, landing delicately behind her, warbled a brief greeting to the blue before slinking back towards the water, eager to cool her hide for the moment. It was just so hot, and she understood why they were sneaking out and if Rissa was truly mad, she'd eat her tail.
Which, really, if F'lon opened his eyes, he'd see the rider of the Obsidian was currently trying not to laugh at him.
She'd dressed to come out for a swim, wearing a low cut skirt, and the shirt she wore could barely be called a shirt, since it cut off just below her chest to leave her stomach bare. Grinning wickedly as she finally gave in to the laughter that had been threatening from the moment she'd seen him dozing off. "And how dare you not invite me along?"

He was half asleep, just resting comfortably, and his guard was down. So when Cadrissa showed up and announced her arrival so abruptly, it should have come as no surprise that the man woke with a start and a yelp. Really had she have been any closer when he jerked awake there would have been a pretty good chance they would have butted heads and someone would have walked away with a broken nose. Lucky though, for both of them, F’lons back slipped from the tree he had been resting against and instead of falling forward he fell back into the grass.
Wide-eyed he continued to lay there for a moment, taking in his surroundings as his brain scrambled to wake up and figure out what the hell just happened. Quick enough his dark eyes came to settle on the obsidian rider and a scowl tugged at his features even as his hand dropped from the knife hanging from his belt. It was reflex and she startled him, it was lucky she hadn’t wound up with the blade in her belly. “Shards, woman! What are you tryin’ to do? Give a man a heart attack?” He could already hear Dyaltith warbling with laughter from where he was digging in the sand a few yards away. F’lon glared in the blue’s direction before grumbling and climbing to his feet. Damned dragon didn’t even give him a warning!
Brushing bits of dirt and grass from his clothes he shot her a sideways glance. “What brings you out here anyway? Don’t tell me the place actually ran out of things for you do?” Judging by his tone it was probably safe to assume he was teasing. After all it was pretty well known throughout the camp that the obsidian rider wasn’t one to slack off or shirk her duties, the complete opposite of himself.

"Oh honey, I could give you a lot more than a heart attack."
So shoot her, she was more than a little bit of a flirt, and with that she leaned back, one eye brow raised at the hand on his knife but there was no sign of anger from the young woman, nor even worry. She wouldn't have been a part of the rebellion if she couldn't look after herself, and even as she teased and flirted with the young men of the weyr, she held them at arms reach. Rissa was not going to be one of those people that had her life taken from her over a stupid mistake. So saying so, she turned her head to blow his dragon a kiss, winking in his direction before she curled her legs under her to sit near him, stretching her arms over her head.
"What brings me here? I got bored. Everyone keeps looking at me and Aellieth like they're expecting something and I would really rather go mining or something." She wrinkled her nose at him, sitting back on her heels daintily before looking over her shoulder at sweet Aellieth, who was curled up behind her as though ready to go to sleep and her expression softened. She almsot wished that Aellieth hadn't had to leave Trelis, that they all hadn't had to leave, the Rebellion was over now, right? They could start forming allies again, or something like that. Glancing back at F'lon, Rissa grinned openly, leaning back on her hands as she did, tilting her head back to allow the breeze to brush against the back of her neck.
"Besiiiiiides, I wanted to play rather than work. Are you complaining about your company, blue rider?"
