Talian sighed as she sat down near the back of the dining hall. She wasn’t here to eat, she was here to hide. She was hoping this would be the last place her twin sister looked for her. She had been running around the Weyr for some time now, trying to find the perfect hiding place, the one place that Inoria wouldn’t think to ever look for her twin. She smiled as she held her white firelizard up to her face. She kissed his small white muzzle before holding him against her chest, trying to hide his white hide in her shirt, hoping that he would stay where he was told.
Princess was another problem altogether, the large canine sat beside her human, her tongue lolling out happily. Talian wrapped one arm around the canines back and pulled her closer before stroking the black fur on Princess’ back. The mute girl smiled and gave the canine the sign to lie down and to stay, which Princess did obediently. One thing that had made Talian proud was that once Princess learned a command she never forgot it, and she always obeyed whatever it was that Talian told her to do.

Inoria wasn't sure exactly where her sister had gotten off to, but that was all part of the game right? They were playing hide and seek, it was a game they often played. Unfortunately, because they were indoors Inoria was not always that good at finding her twin. Outdoors was better, easier. Outdoors she could ask the dragons where her sibling had been or gone to. Some even knew exactly where she was hiding. Turning her head, the young girl perked up as a young blue whispered to her mind, playing the game as well as it spotted the look alike running through the outside areas only to dart back in.
That was near the Dining Halls! Skipping gleefully, Inoria headed for the area, following her nose in order to figure out which way to go. On her heels her female canine loped after, tongue lolling out as she sniffed and snuffled her way into every nook and cranny. Even after 'Ria gave a sharp order to follow and stop fooling around, Rujhia still did as she pleased. It wasn't because of any inability to follow the rules or commands though, the canine was just short of attention span and often got herself into messes.
Sighing and giving up, the six turn old stepped into the partially empty, or partially full however you saw it, dining hall. Her sibling would not be sitting or hiding in the front, that was much too obvious. After a moment she looked around, and then got to her hands and knees, peering along the bottoms of the tables before an older rider nudged her with their boot gentle and pointed to a few rows back. Smiling wickedly, the girl crawled forward on all fours, gaining a sigh and eye-roll from the man before he let her go without another word.
Just before she got close enough to "pounce", the six turn old stopped and giggled, peering around the table at her sibling. "Found you!"

Talian was starting to wonder if she had hid from her sister a little too well. She chewed on her lower lip a little before looking down at her white firelizard who was now curled up in the young girl’s lap, fast asleep. A small smile spread across the weyrbrat’s lips at the site, and she gently stroked the small wings that were hanging out away from the firelizard’s side and over the sides of her legs. Princess had also fallen asleep; at least, that’s what it looked like anyways. She had curled herself up and put her tail over her nose and her breathing was relaxed. Altogether they were starting to make Talian a little sleepy.
Princess would soon surprise her owner though, she might have appeared to be deeply sleeping, but in all actuality she had just been lightly resting. But she was soon wide awake, her nose sniffing out a few familiar scents that had just wafted her way. Talian jumped and silently yelped when she heard her sister’s voice, sending a sleepy Chef into the air squawking loudly and unhappily. Talian smiled and quickly calmed her white firelizard, who settled onto her shoulder. Princess barked softly at Rujhai, wagging her tail happily as she sniffed at the other canine.
Talian smiled at her sister, bouncing up and down excitedly. She looked at her sister a little suspiciously, wondering if she had used the dragons to figure out where the older twin had been hiding. Oh well, it wasn’t like Talian had never used the Weyr’s firelizards to help find Inoria. The smile returned to her six turn old face, and she wondered where her twin would hide. Oh this was so exciting! She loved playing games like this with her sister. It made her feel like a normal girl, instead of a six turn old who could speak, and who could communicate with any and every firelizard she could find.
