PANILLE
PB: Mila Kunis
Name: Panille
Pronunciation: Pan-eel
Age: 23
Season Born In: Spring
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance:
Green eyes hidden behind dark brown hair. A flicker of slightly tanned skin in the corner of your eye. The soft laughter that follows the brush of fingertips against your side. Then the feel of a body inches from another, fit and lean. These are all things that Panille uses to soothe her victims into a false sense of security. They are her best features she knows.
Eyes are said to be the windows into your soul, and they are no different for Panille as much as she would wish otherwise. They are expressive in their movements, and a clear green, gray color lined by thick lashes. She knows how to narrow them or widen them just so too to make people look and pay attention. She knows how to quirk the soft pink of her lips to make someone come closer, to listen to the voice that speaks softly. She also knows how to put a saucy and sharp retort from those lips, and she knows that the arching brows over the green of her eyes will furrow and tilt down if she is displeased.
All in all though, Panille is just incredibly expressive no matter what she is doing. Her game of poker is to overplay everything, not to keep a straight face. If she wants you to feel something, she will make sure of it. Her voice will raise or lower, her hands will twirl in her dark hair so that it shines almost a dark auburn in the light. She'll put it up to show the length and slender curve of a pale neck, or she'll let the waves fall loose down her shoulders and back. At times she'll laugh and smile with no restriction at all, and other times she will be harder and still others alluring.
Pan is a face of many, and she moves from one to the other with ease. She will physically become whatever she needs to be to get what she wants. Her clothing style will reflect this, playing the hard working farmer when she needs to appear as such. Or, the riske and flirtatious greenrider that she normally is on a day to day basis. She does love color though, and as much as she can she will put it on. Bright and vivid to dark and saturated, she wears them to draw attention as much as the cuts of her clothes. Show a little skin, raise her head up, put a spring in her step and she will strut for all to see.
Her body is good enough for most she knows too, and what she lacks for someone's preference she makes up for in her movements and personality. Still, she has yet to find more men or women that she can count on her two hands that are opposed to what she was born with. Long legs and arms toned by her work as a rider and her own desire for a good self image are only the beginning, and they meet at a thin, hourglass waist and curves that she loves to hug with her clothing. Panille is all woman and she is proud of that, and she's not afraid to show that pride off to any who would doubt it.
Personality:
If there is one thing that Panille hates more than anything else, it is to be controlled. She is no one's pet, and she is far from being a proper lady. Rather than sit on some pedestal all groomed up and ready for show, she would crash the parties, take away the suitors for a night, and steal everyone's marks to boot. In the end, Pan is no more than a common thief. Okay, so she's a bit more than a common thief, and sorry, it's preferred that she is called a con artist.
She has style, she honestly does. Pan doesn't just throw herself at some random dude that has what she wants. She flirts a little here, gets close a little there, bats her eyelashes and gets you drunk, and then she'll ditch. Truth is, she seldom sneaks down to the level that some women go to get what they want; especially now that she has a nice bluerider back home to go to at the end of the day. She's more than just pallor tricks though.
Pan is creative, constantly thinking of new faces to be and people to become. If you give her a scenario, she will mold herself to it and work with whatever she is given. She's quick to adapt, and she is even quicker to prove that her loyalty is only to herself. The greenrider can be incredibly manipulative when she wants to be, and it's because she pays attention. No one is without a weakness, and when she finally hits that sore spot you have, she'll dig in her heels until she has what she's come for.
Despite this, Panille isn't all evil and trouble. The young woman holds herself to a fairly high esteem. Her self confidence absolutely boils over the surface, though she isn't terribly vain. Pan just is comfortable in her own skin and doesn't need anyone to give her compliments to feel good about herself or her abilities. She knows how good she is thank you very much. More so, Pan also has a soft spot for some things. People in general is one of them.
If you have tried to use her or someone else, then you can forget about what is going to be revealed. She has no patience and no mercy for those that do not deserve it. However, for the most part there is a line that Panille will refuse to cross. She will not steal from someone who has nothing or little, and she will not hurt someone that has done absolutely nothing wrong. Little kid begging for a piece of bread in the hollows of an older cothold? She would sooner trick the Lord out of his dinner and give it to the child than use him or her.
Family:
Biological Family Unknown:
Sevrin- "Brother" Dragonless Man
Tk'ri- "Brother" Amethyst Aedaluth
Sehille- "Sister" *deceased*
Location: Ista Weyr-Trelis Weyr-Rindell
Rank: Searchrider/Wingrider
Wing: High Lady's Wing
History:
Panille was born into Ista Weyr's creche by a mother who quickly lost interest and a father who never knew she existed. She wasn't unlike many others in that way, and her family quickly became one that she was "adopted" into by friends forming a sort of pact. There were four to be exact; Tikrin, Sevrin, Sehille, and herself. The only actual relatives in the group were Sevrin and Sehille, but that didn't matter. They were all extremely close to one another and you never found one weyrbrat without someone else from their "family."
At 13 turns, Panille was chosen from the creche to begin her candidacy, and it wasn't exactly productive. Instead of doing well and impressing like she was expected to, Panille went turns without ever finding her lifemate. She did however find a knack for manipulation and thievery. It started when someone stole an item from Sehille who was her roommate at the time. Angered, the other three "family members" planned to steal it back. Since that moment however, it sort of stuck with them all.
Tikrin was the strategist, Sevrin the muscle, and Panille could lie and cheat her way through anything with one hand tied behind her back. Sehille was always told, but left out, the kindest of the four preferring to simply stay out of the other three's adventures. When she was 16 however, things started to change. Sevrin, who had already become S'vrin turns earlier, and she started to become increasingly close. Especially because she soon impressed to a green dragonet, and his lifemate was still young enough to make the Senior Weyrlings.
By the time Panille graduated from weyrlinghood, S'vrin had already pushed his way to Wingleader, and had specifically placed Panille in his Wing. It was no wonder why they quickly formed more than a friendship, however, it wasn't long before the greenrider found out it was only to manipulate her. For once, she was on the other end of her favorite game. When the mutations started to appear again, having already come up once at Ista though hidden due to S'vrin and others forcing the issue in retaliation for Sehille's mauling and death, Panille found herself doing whatever the bronzerider asked of her.
Thinking she was in love, she didn't question why she did what she did...at least not until she was made to steal weyrbrats. After that, Panille and Iliath vowed to separate themselves from S'vrin's Wing, and they did it in the one way they knew would most certainly cause a riot. They brought candidates to the Istan Obsidian's hatching instead of leaving her eggs to hatch to a cavern without candidates. After the events unfolded and Pallirath, the Istan WeyrQueen, sent S'vrin's bronze and his followers away, Panille chose to go with the new weyrlings to Trelis Weyr.
Once there, she was made their teacher, and took the opportunity with a slight grudge. She hadn't wanted to be in charge of the dragonets and the weyrlings, but she was the cause for them in the first place. Little did she know that she would get to know, the cousin of one. F'lon, the thief that was the only one since S'vrin that could match Panille. She quickly fell into an easy rhythm of teasing the weyrling and flirting with him, until one night after the Southern Riders had taken advantage of Loraketh and Inali, she admitted to her feelings.
The happiness to follow was short lived however as Threadfall and Loraketh's death struck the Weyr. Not long after S'vrin and Ar'rex made their move, and Panille wasn't about to sit around and watch...
Instead, she trained whichever Trelis Riders that sided with the forming rebellion, aiding them to either escape the splitting Weyr, or find a way to fight back. One of those riders was Alyara, and the two greenriders formed a tight sisterly bond as they helped each other prepare for the coming battle as well as watch over the now dragonless Inali.
After the fighting though, F'lon was no where to be seen, and Panille knew that if he were not dead he'd be with the rebels. She had planned to leave herself, except S'vrin had other ideas. Instead, she is constantly watched, not trusted to be by herself for long. Ar'rex, the brownrider whose dragon last caught her Iliath often is one of the riders on guard duty. At least she was able to mess with him.
It wasn't until one of the gathers that she was finally able to do something about her imprisonment. S'vrin had gotten himself drunk and while he was busy, F'lon who had come with some other Rebels to get recruits, was able to get her out and away for good. Since then she has been with the rebellion through whatever ups and downs it's gone through. She has not always agreed with what has happened, but she has much more freedom to do as she likes in this place than any she has ever been before...not to mention F'lon is there too which makes it that much better.
ILLIATH
Name: Illiath
Pronunciation: Ill-E-ath
Age: 6 turns
Rank: Green
Size: 23 feet
Color Codes: 7fff00, 414F12
Appearance:
Illiath's toxic green hide can be seen from anywhere. It's bright and close to neon being a complete eye sore for anyone who lays their gaze on it. However, perhaps thankfully, it is marred by a darker green along her wing sails, tail, belly, neck, face and then also her feet. It also has shades of a more desaturated bright green and an off white, pale version of green. These spots are few and far in between though and often do not show easily.
Her build is thin and lanky, being a lithe individual. She's on the larger side of her color as well, though her wings are somewhat short for her size. This is fine by Illiath though. Those angled wings help her to make quick turns without having more wing-length than is needed.
Personality:
Manipulative, Proud, Sneaky, Dark, Sensual, Vain, Protective, Aggressive at times, Spiteful, Holds Grudges
Iliath is all of Pan's frustration and flirtation and anger rolled up into one without any of the sweetness. She doesn't care who she has to harm to get forward in life, and will never pity anyone. Pity is for those that can't bring themselves to put someone out of their misery. It's a hard life simply, and Iliath is glad to be the force that cuts those that don't make it out.
When around males, she isn't so spiteful though, and becomes quite sensual and vain. She's competitive with other females, and has the manipulative abilities to make their lives miserable if she so wishes. She doesn't tolerate others taking her spotlight or her "lovers".
Iliath is also very proud, and if anyone tries to put her or her rider down, she will threaten them. Generally this is by snapping and saying she'll bite their head off. The thing is, she actually would if Panille didn't hold her back mentally. She's dark as well, the first one to volunteer for a siege, and fuels Hers' revenge against the riders that are trying to take over Pern.
Mind-Voice (If applicable):
We will have our revenge in due time My Love, we just have to wait.
