Well things certainly have been interesting. Apparently after that flight and that whole mess with one of those dragons going between had caused quite the stir. Ever the one to keep an ear out for things the candidate had spent his time slinking around the dining hall and lending an ear when he can. Clearly most of what he heard was hearsay, seeing that supposed council meeting (which he wasn't completely sold whether it had actually happened or not) had managed to keep things locked up rather tight. Nevertheless there were still the facts by what was common knowledge before hand. There had been a flight, a garnet had mauled a dragon, said dragon went between. Simple, that was all simple to understand, now what had been brought up in that meeting was a bit of information that Bahari would love to sink his teeth into.

The brunet had taken up residence in the dining hall, the day had been spent working through a mess of chores, his own personal craft work, and a few meals thrown in there now and then. The starcrafter had since bathed and freshened up after the more labor-based actions of the day and had settled down into the hall to try and feed a bit more of his insatiable curiosity. He wanted to sharding know what had happened. Knowledge was important, knowledge was a whole sharding lot of power, and did he want a leg up in all of that. Bahari sucked on his teeth, frowning into the wooden tabletop for a moment and exhaling heavily. Sharding secrets, he'd prefer to crack them all open and delight in whatever golden yolks of truth were buried at the center. Whether or not he used that information for the betterment of people as a whole or solely for selfish reasons.

It was likely the latter done up in the pretty guise of something resembling the former.

Bahari rubbed absently at his neck, some purpling bruise still evident there (and shards, was those fading traces of teeth marks?) behind the collar of the doublet he wore. He didn't bother with a shirt beneath, the balmy weather kept him warm enough easily. The hand moved it's ministrations a bit lower onto his collarbone, and oh if someone wanted to check they'd find more marks there. The marks themselves weren't that much of a problem, although the fact that the candidate was already entertaining two gentlemen callers might be an issue. Oh Bahari, he managed to just get attracted into trouble, and even now that wasn't even on his mind.

No, whatever had happened in that council was on his mind.

Bahari's hair was pulled over one of his shoulders, the mass partially braided and handing loose as he did his best to look like he was going over a few leaflets of information pertaining to his starcraft business. His bright eyes, however, weren't trained on the papers but instead flickered about the individuals milling throughout the dining hall. He pursed his lips, reaching out for his glass of wine past his untouched plate of food and taking a generous drink of it. Certainly something would pop up that would provide a nice distraction, right? Shards, the man didn't even have Hatsya around as a form of entertainment.

Damion was getting antsy.

Hanging around in one place was never good for Damion, and the few toys that he'd managed to gather around him were, for the most part, busy or boring. There was that itch starting again. The itch to destroy something. To spread blood from one end of the weyr to the other, to hear someone scream. Shards, it was getting to the point of a buzz in the back of his mind, ringing faintly in his ears and making his hands twitch constantly. He could feel Damiosk on the edge of this mind, as irritated as he was. Shards with the council thing that was on everyone's mind and the weyr was buzzing with gossip.

Yet no one actually wanted to talk about what was said. He couldn't get anywhere near the brown rider - ex brown rider - because her weyrmate hovered, and he hadn't been able to pin anyone else down for long enough to get sharding answers.

So Damion was not the best person to trap in a conversation at the moment. If he'd known someone else had their eyes on his toy, things would have gotten even worse very quickly. Damion did not share. Ever. It wasn't the toy that would get in trouble either, it was whoever had dared to touch his toy. They were his. Damion's mood was dangerous enough that a look in the wrong direction might get someone's eyeballs pried out rather dangerously.
Rip? Kill? Death? Blood? Mine?[/i] The demon was awake. For a moment, the wher sounded almost affectionate, right until Damion shoved his voice aside at the sight of Bahari.

Right, his favourite toy at the moment.

Damion gave absolutely no warning as he stepped up behind Bahari, footsteps almost silent on the ground as he reached a hand to cover Bahari's over the bruises, tightening enough to pinch before releasing as he leaned down in an attempt to brush his lips over his ear - still without a word. When he did speak, the tone wasn't quite the same as the warm, boyish tone of before. It was darker. Dangerous.
"Bahari." And yet, when he purred that name, there was even a trace of amusement as he seated himself next to the candidate, hand never moving from the back of his neck.
"Distract me."[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Bahari didn't have his attention set for keeping note of any footsteps heading his way, there were plenty of footsteps belonging to a number of people in the dining hall, how was he supposed to single out if a pair were headed directly to him? Oh no, Bahari had his eyes set ahead, flickering around briefly ad he continued to sip on his wine and try to piece together the bit of logical facts he knew with the murmurs of rumors that had sprung up since this supposed council. Shards, couldn't someone from it just quit being so mum and pipe up already and leak some much needed information? Baha drew in a deep breath through his noise, holding it in for a moment before forcing himself to close his eyes and exhale it deeply. Honestly he shouldn't be worried about this, but if he wanted to be a player in any sort of politics when the time or opportunity came he wanted to have an edge or advantage.

Getting caught in his own thoughts was likely what kept him unaware when that hand settled down on his skin right over where his bruises were. Bahari gasped in, teeth snapping together when he felt that pressure pinch. For a moment the starcrafter was unsure of who it was. The fine hairs on the back of his neck prickled up when there was the faint touch of lips at his ear, following by a low, rightfully dangerous tone that spoke out his name. Ah, well that alone narrowed down the choices as to who that voice belonged to. Bahari's initial look of mild shock and thought smoothed over into something near amusement when the figure finally took the seat next to him.

"Damion."

Ah, yes, he remembered the wherhandler. How could he forget their little tryst in the weyr lake? He arched his neck a bit underneath the warm pressure of that hand, his fingertips twirling the neck of his wineglass between them. "Distract you? You know it's a bit more public here, I don't think nearly enough people here would be appreciative if I gave you a proper distraction." He spoke it with a lightness and a slight teasing tone, and finally fixed the man with a steady look with those bright eyes of his. "Do you normally have a habit like this? Slinking up with no warning whatsoever? For someone of your stature I'd expect a bit more noise, you're not exactly hard to spot."

Bahari smirked a bit, slipping his fingertips down the stem of that glass and ending the base of it towards the individual who had joined him. "A bit of wine, then? I always finds it helps to relax a bit, shards know we can all use some of that. What brings you here?"

When Bahari moved his head further into his grip Damion seemed to relax slightly, grip softening ever so lightly to simply thread his fingers through the finer hair at the base of his neck. Damion, however, didn't look particularly amused. There was still that pressure in his mind, that was both the presence of his bonded and the desire to do something to someone pressed against his mind and had him shifting that little bit closer to the young man and leaning to attempt to press a soft kiss to the skin of his neck, growling softly against his skin.
"You can't expect me to believe that form of distraction is the only one you're capable of." And yet, he responded to that teasing tone, lips twitching ever so slightly into a smile.

Though really, like people in the weyr could complain. Half of them ripped each others clothes off the minute a flight started and her wouldn't really like to see any of them question whatever he was doing when he was in this particular mood. Anyone who knew him anyway. At the question, he met Bahari's eyes, bright for bright, his own gaze remaining steady and cold. A habit of..?
"It's much harder to get what I want when people hear me coming. Spend enough time playing my games and you'll learn to know when I'm around." He paused, grinning rather broadly at the comment on his stature, voice lowering to a purr as he tightened his hand on his neck pressing close.
"Have you already worked out I'm not the average brute, Bahari?"

When the wine was offered, Damion paused, reluctant, before taking the cup. Just because he was more likely to offer a poisoned drink than he was just as a courtesy, didn't mean others did. Bahari waas an interesting toy, but he wasn't a dangerous toy. Not yet. And likely, he wouldn't be to Damion. Taking a slow sip of the wine, Damion's gaze didn't flinch from staring at Bahari, in particular his lips. The question, however innocent, caused another pause. What brought him here? To the dining hall, clearly, but how to answer that. He wanted to bathe in blood and thought he'd be safer around more people. No, couldn't scare the toy yet.
"Perhaps I wanted to see you? Perhaps I hungered for your company again? Perhaps..." He was purring again, and shards he just couldn't seem to keep his hands to himself, because when had his nails started tracing against his skin?
"Perhaps I was bored, Bahari. Or perhaps nothing brings me here. You can't really know."

Bahari caught the slight sensation of that grip lightening up, but chose not to comment on it. He never had much of an issue with personal space, he was always impeding those of others, so it never came as much of a bother when someone else decided to do that to him. What did get a look of surprise on the brunet's features was the way in which the wherhandler leaned in to press those lips against his neck, paired with that unlikely growl. That was not a touch Bahari had been expecting. The starcrafter shrugged a bit, he hadn't exactly pegged the wherhandler as being too overtly affectionate, granted their last meeting could be describe as affectionate enough.

"Mnnn, nope. I can distract in various different ways, why would I ever try to lead someone into believing that is the only card I play? Please, all of that did start off with a bit of talk." Ah, but he had gotten some semblance of a smile out of those lips, good. He arched an eyebrow when the handler continued on and mentioned that he'd learn to know when he was coming around. "Oh, please, enlighten me, I'm absolutely thrilled." Again, self preservation didn't seem to rank high on Bahari's list of wants. Acting like a brat? High enough. Besides, just because the wherhandler had a bit of a dominant streak didn't mean Bahari was just going to bend and give way. Talking back was in his nature, and it took a lot more to break the starcrafter. "Well I assumed you weren't just the average brute when you managed to have ample command over your words. Brawn and brains usually don't get paired together so nicely."

Bahari's gaze flickered briefly to the wine glass the man seemed to take a moment before reaching for. Ah? A hesitation there? Bahari filed that bit of information safely away and arched his neck a bit more into the hand that was on him. There was yet another hesitation after he had spoken his question, and Bahari was left looking intently at the wherhandler and listening to whatever answer finally surfaced. "Oh please, I'm not some blushing Holdgirl who found she has some admirer, flattery won't do you any good. Really the sentiment is nice but really you led me to expect you'd have a much better answer in line than that based on the last little chat we had." Why, even the purring tone Damion had acquired only caused the candidate to smirk as he reached out to reclaim the glass briefly to take a sip from it himself before offering it back to the wherhandler.

"You came here and asked me to distract you which generally means you have something to be distracted by. Come now, I nearly feel insulted that you think I could have my attention so easily swayed away by a couple of pretty answers." Ah, Baha was going to ever act like a nice challenge, because giving anyone the easy way out would simply be offering too much of a service. "Here, let me take a shot in the dark, is it related to any of these rumors circulating about an apparent gathering that may or may not have happened following a certain flight?"

Affectionate? Oh no, nothing about Damion's movement was affectionate. It would take more than a clever mouth to get him snuggling. If Damion had known that thought was there, that would have gotten him laughing until he couldn't breathe. It was the pulse. Always with the pulse and the blood flowing underneath the skin that had him that close. Necks were wonderful things, he could attach to them and just the barest cut would make the blood flow so freely.
"Indeed, and yet you assume that this is the distraction I seek. If I wanted that, Bahari, I wouldn't have sat down with you. Or spoken to you." Nope, when Dami wanted, Dami took. They'd shared names - and much more than names - and there fore he was going to do what he wanted, when he wanted.

Another laugh met those words, his hand shifting to toy with Bahari's long hair before he shook his head slightly, a cold smirk forming on his features.
"Not yet, Bahari. You don't get to know all my secrets after one day." It would take a lot longer for Damion to willingly spill something like that. Really, if the kid wasn't so sharding amusing things would have gotten a lot worse for him. As it was, his gall in talking back only served to make Damion chuckle. Surprisingly. He'd thought he was beyond laughter, maybe a few more days and that itch would be something else to control.
"Ah, I see. Do I have to prove to you again just how far from ordinary I am? Let me give you this warning, Bahari, the norm is never what you will get from me."

Another grin surfaced at the rebuttal, but just as quickly disappeared into something more thoughtful.
"No blushing holdgirl, perhaps. But I won't deny I found your company stimulating. In fact you just happened to be around when I needed you to be." One of those broad shoulders lifted in an almost casually arrogant shrug, blue eyes once again going cold. This time, he didn't take the offered glass, studying Bahari's expression, storing away every flicker of his facial features.

"No. I have nothing to do with that fiasco they called a meeting." Was the short reply, and Damion paused for a long moment in order to consider his next comment. He had told Bahari to distract him, and he'd been such a good little toy last time, still...
"Careful, Bahari..." He purred again, fingers twisting in his hair before nodding to himself.
"Shall we put it this way. Certain things I have to do are put on hold by that mess. Certain desirable tasks must be put on hold until the leadership decides to do something. Another way you might put it is a certain creature sharing my mind is peevish and restless." It was an honest answer, to an extent. And it was the best Bahari could hope for, considering Damion chose that moment to be distracted again.
"Now that you have your answer, why don't you concentrate on using that sharp, skillful tongue of yours to do as you were told?"[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Granted, Bahari took most physical actions as tokens of affection, he had yet to really get a grasp on Damion's slippery mind (and oh if he ever did, bless his soul, he'd probably laugh at himself for the thought alone). "Mnn, but you have sat down and you did speak to me." He turned his head a bit rubbing at his jawline with his free hand and seemingly at ease with the way the wherhandler was playing with a bit of his hair, shards there were days Bahari couldn't help but play with it himself, at least the mass was behaving today. He smirked at bit when the handler mentioned the part about the secrets and hummed lowly, shaking his head a fraction. "Now now, I never said anything about wanting to know your secrets. We've only had a tussle in the water, I don't expect you to bare your pretty little soul to me and tell me all of your wishes and dreams." Bahari scrunched up his nose in a look of mild distaste and shook his head a bit more. "Oh please don't, I'm afraid I might get physically ill from just the thought."

"I mean if you're willing to prove it again I certainly won't stop you, granted there's a bit more clothes this time around, a lot less water, but I'm sure we'll find ways to make each other a bit breathless." Bahari paused for a moment, eyes narrowing a bit as he looked at Damion as if seeing something before he hadn't quite noticed. "Are you into that? A bit of breathplay? I wouldn't knock it until you try and and if you're at all curious do let me know." Ah, there it was, a small tough of a completely inappropriate topic that slipped into his speech as if he was talking about cloud patterns or what flavors were evident in the wine he was drinking. "Oh but that is a nice warning, because here's one for you, I happen to get bored when things slip into a sense of normalcy. I do hope you stick true to your side and keep me on my toes."

The shrug and the manner in which Damion seemed to neglect that glass of wine only got one in return from Bahari, along with a careful little smile and another sip of that wine before he rested the glass back down on the table. "Well I didn't think you had a hand in it, please, I'm just like the rest of the ankle-biters here hoping to get a bit of juicy information to snatch away and keep for myself. Someone will be daft enough to let something slip, and I fully intend to use that to my advantage." He sucked on his teeth, his bright blue gaze breaking away from his company to briefly skim over the crowd in the dining hall. Ugh. His attention returned easily enough to the other man, especially at the sound of his name being purred like that.

"Oh that's dreadfully frustrating, getting answers in half-cooked forms like that. You're such a sharding tease." His expression lightened a bit when the word creature was mentioned. "Oh your wher, you don't say? Well that's a pity you're forced to wait, last I remember you're not very patient once it's clear as to what it is that you want, although I wasn't necessarily all to patient either." He shrugged it off and oh he laughed aloud at the last thing Damion had said, a light, genuinely amused sound that had to be bitten back by his own teeth on his lips. "Do as I'm told? Damion, I can assure you the easiest way to get me not to do something is to tell me to do as I'm told. At least I'm self aware of my braggart behavior, although does that really count towards anything if I don't act on it at all?"

He had a particularly amused look on, nodding to the wine at hand. "You could steal my drink and I could go on about what I have here," his hand splayed briefly over the leaflets of notes he had, "dreadfully boring, stars, unless you're a romantic or a scholar, and I don't quite peg you as either of those things. Another option is I could sit here and spill to you with whatever gossip I may have about the Weyr, but I swear even that won't be too interesting without the wine. I could sit here and feign a blush," as if on cue patches of colors seemed to brighten on Bahari's cheekbones, his expression becoming a bit more demure, a hand flirting up to his mouth where he coyly bit onto the edge of his thumb and played right into the part of a coy, flushing image of innocence, "and be oh-so-charmed by those compliments of my skilled tongue."

His expression dropped suddenly after a moment, and Bahari shrugged. "Do you need me to feed you more options? I surely could come up with a few more." Ah, oh there was one. "You could show me this peevish and restless creature of yours, if all else fails."

To be fair, Bahari probably didn't want to know Damion's deepest desires, they would likely turn even the strongest stomach. Damion had no desires for power or for wealth, he had no desire for long term plans; he just lived each day as it came, focused on every moment. Like the way Bahari's pulse beat underneath his lips. Steady, strong, alive. Every. Pulse. More blood. It was distracting, enough so that the wher handler wasn't willing to move even at that touch of distaste in his toy's voice.
"My desires would likely make even your hair curl, Bahari." Was all he said, simply, to the fact. Damion's desires were nothing like most people's; there was nothing sweet about his dreams - which was probably what the candidate was worried about, really.
"I sat down because, without a distraction, the weyr leaders might growl at me."

Ah, there we go. Back into the interesting conversations, better, Bahari, much better.
"I'd be more than happy to prove it again, perhaps show you even more of what I can do. Later, perhaps, if you aren't frightened." Was he taunting? Yes, he was. Damion enjoyed the fact Bahari kept up with him, but that didn't mean he could keep up to the standards Damion wanted him at. Breath play, hm? Damion's lips twisted in smirk, leaning close to Bahari's ear again to speak,
"That would be telling~. You'll just have to work that out for yourself, if you want to know." Oh Bahari, if you were going to be a tease, Damion was going to be a tease right back. It was a good thing, too, with every moment, he felt that itch residing a little. And the toy had a bite! A chuckle caught Damion off guard, a grin taking place of the serious look he'd had before.
"If I get boring something will be seriously wrong. I am never boring. I can promise[./i] that." Honestly, if Damion got boring, he'd probably stab himself in the foot.

"Oh you don't think I had a hand in it?" Damion grinned, shifting that little bit closer to rest one of his hands on Bahari's legs. He liked to touch. Liked to be in contact. If Bahari had a problem with it... well, too bad. This was Damion's game.
"Mm the information was juicy, let me tell you. Poking around in enough dark corners gets you a long way." Nothing went on that Damion didn't at least have a finger in the honeypot. He liked listening to everything far too much, and having both the day and the night to play made things a lot easier.
"Mm, I am. A tease. What are you going to do about it?" Nothing, Damion was fairly certain. He didn't know his toy too well yet, but there were certain challenges he was assuming Bahari wouldn't take him up on - of course, he could be wrong, it wasn't the first time by far.

"To tell the truth, I prefer it when people don't behave, but really, it's not as though that suggestion was entirely distasteful." He'd made his toy laugh. Good, that was a step towards trust. Trust was a good thing to break. It left people hurt and broken and Damion loved that. His attention was once more distracted, the young wherhandler obviously intent on distracting his prey to see just how well he could focus when Damion was attempting to keep things as inappropriate as humanly possible. His lips stayed near his ear, though the coy look did get another laugh.
"Blushing holdgirl, hm, no, I don't think so. After last time you certainly can't pass off as that.. As for the options why don't you... Surprise me."

Bahari wanted to meet Damiosk? Damion barely concealed a snort in time as he attempted to press a kiss under his ear again.
"You want to meet that thing? Or you feel you should offer?"

"My hair is already curled, Damion." There was more of a teasing tone to that as he shot back, biting on his own lip to keep from smiling too widely. He took a moment to digest the comment the wherhandler made, and why, even managed to look unbothered enough to splay out his fingers and regard the state of his nails. "Later? I'll see if I can clear up some of my schedule if you're interested in that. Really you can't just assume I'm free all the time to get tangled up with you." Bahari snorted a bit at that, but gently turned his head in such a way to allow the wherhandler a bit more access to his neck. A more devious smile curled onto his lips, splitting into a wider grin when the handler managed to throw those words back at him, that would be telling, oh shards.

"I'll keep that in mind." The comment was made in reference to the breath-play, and oh he would keep that in mind. He remembered well enough that Damion's body had been littered in an assortment of scars, and he mentioned only one of them had been caused by his wher. Clearly the man was into some things that individuals with more, ah, vanilla tastes might be a bit taken back by. "Ohhh I wouldn't make promises if you don't intend on keeping them, I'll remember that~" The sing-song voice Bahari responded in was all meant in good fun. At the touch of the other hand on his leg the starcrafter seemed to move unconsciously into the touch--he did prefer contact, even if it was in platonic instances.

His attention snapped back up to Damion when he made the suggestion that sounded like he did know something. The crafter's eyes narrowed a bit, but that amused, satisfied smile was still curled on his lips. "Oh really? What would I have to do to get some of that information out of you, hmn?" He held onto Damion's gaze for a bit. "And in all honesty there's nothing to be done with teases, Faranth knows I've been accused of such things plenty of times. I know how to play that game plenty well, Damion." He had turns of learning how to entertain people with social games, and he knew well enough how to keep people on their toes all on his own.

Bahari craned his neck again a bit, allowing further space for the wherhandler to press those lips against his neck and the shell of his ear when he moved there. "There is a difference between acting like a blushing holdgirl and an inexperienced one, and no way am I referring to the latter. I believe after last time we both know I'm not inexperienced." Bahari sounded smug at that. "Oh you really don't want to ask for a surprise, now that I know you won't bolt when things get a little tricky." One of Bahari's hands slipped off of the table, tracing down beneath onto Damion's thigh, his fingertips moving to ghost over as they made their way up the length of it. "See, a nice surprise instantly brings to mind a pair of little, dainty fishhooks on your chest and a nice little length of line between them that you could pull." He pitched that a bit low, fingers dangerously close to the junction where leg met hip. The motions stopped, and Bahari gave the wherhandler an amused look out of the corner of his eye. "That sounds right up your alley, doesn't it?"

His hand, frustratingly, swept away and back up to the table to reach for the glass of wine again. "That thing? If I remember you called him Damiosk last time we spoke. I wouldn't mind meeting it, I do find creatures interesting enough, and you had been such an advocate on their passion and primal ways, I thought I could throw you a bone and give it a shot." Bahari didn't mind the company of beasts so much, he worked well enough with his parents' dragons, and his own flitt was proof enough that he enjoyed firelizards, might as well give a shot at the third member of the draconic species.

"Then just imagine what knowing what was in my head would do to you~." Was the purred reply. He did enjoy it when Bahari spoke back. It told him he wasn't afraid, it told him that this toy was going to be so much fun to break. Just thinking about breaking him sent cool chills racing along his arms with delight. The smart ass, clever, witty being... Broken. Begging. Sobbing. Couldn't they play that game now? Ah but patience, patience. It wouldn't be as much fun unless it was everything crumbling. Unless it was broken. Hurt wasn't the same as broken. Damion didn't like to hurt people much. He loved breaking them.
"Mm, I don't assume it. I simply take what I want. You make time. Or I make time. I'm sure you'd rather make the time." He could be nice for the first few meetings. There were the complaints, but considering Bahari was just letting him have access to his neck, Damion highly doubted that he would have too much trouble.

"I don't make promises I don't intend to keep." That Bahari hadn't started whining about the bruises Damion had left on his flesh only encouraged the wherhandler, really. It meant that the next time they played together, Damion would push his luck a lot further. He took what he could, there was nothing about Damion that was normal, and certainly not his choice in play time. He'd behave for a moment in such a public place, but when Bahari moved into that touch, he could hardly be faulted for letting his nails trace the seam of his clothes on his thigh, could he? Surely he couldn't be blamed.

Oh Bahari wanted information? Damion personally was going to keep that in mind, people said all sorts of things when they were in precarious positions, and Damion had learned long ago to keep them in mind. Now if Bahari was interested in those kinds of things... Damion could be a good master and drop little tidbits.
"I'm not going to just tell you how you might get that information from me," He grinned, shrugging one broad shoulder upwards, laughing as he did so, "Well, you'll just have to live with my teasing, and I with yours for the time being."

The more skin that was exposed to his ministrations, the more Damion was encouraged to take the bait. His teeth grazed lightly over the flesh exposed, and the kisses barely paused.
"I don't particularly prefer blushing hold girls or inexperienced people in the comparison to the experience. Games are much more fun when the other person knows how to play." He murmured, voice trailing off slowly as Bahari's hand moved in a very distracting manner. And his words. Shards. He liked this toy.
"Yes." He growled, the growl only darkening when his hand moved back to the table. It was then going to be Bahari's fault if he had teeth marks in his neck for the next week.
"Tease." He'd punish him later for that. He'd make him writhe for that.

"Damiosk, yes. You're welcome to meet him, on one condition." He spoke softly, purring the words against his flesh.
"You have to trust me."[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Oh I wouldn't dare do that, it would be so rude of me to try and figure that out. I'd rather be surprised." Bahari smirked, pleased with himself, and actually a slice pleased with his company. It wasn't often that there was someone who liked to keep up all the time, usually they fell away or grew tired of his little cat and mouse game and just surrendered to it. The brunet arched an eyebrow at the comment about the promise making, but decided to keep his mouth shut on that. Oh he could prattle on about the ideals behind promise making and the like, but he didn't want to bore the man. Entertainment was the name of the game, and Bahari knew how to play well enough. The starcrafter found himself swallowing a particularly knotting lump in his throat when he felt nails on the inner seam of his trousers, and oh there was a bit of spike in his pulse and one could've sworn his thighs eased open just a fraction.

Of course he'd react physically to that, the sharding tease. Speaking of being a tease, it seemed like Damion wasn't going to give up whatever he knew all too easily.

"I could've figured that you wouldn't, you really don't seem like the type to give things away like that, and if you were oh I'd find that dreadfully boring. It's much more interesting to make me work for it." He hummed briefly underneath that mouth on his neck, quite aware that he ugh, the two of them probably looked like a pair of cozy lovers to anyone walking past, how disgusting that thought was--although if he played that angle right maybe others would loosen their lips a bit. "Oh don't make it sound like it's painful, I have a feeling we're both mutually enjoying our efforts at being a tease. I certainly haven't heard any complaints." On the contrary, it seemed like Damion was rather eager for a second round.

"Oh, yes? You know I once knew a girl who taught me a few things about knot tying. We had a bit of fun seeing who could tie the other one up and see how achingly long it took before we were either spent or managed to get out of it." Ah, there was another careful addition to the game Bahari was playing. He always found that mentioning another individual who he had amorous relations with usually drew out some telling responses in other individuals, notably if they were the sort who got too attached or possessive over things. Bahari was gingerly poking at boundaries, seeing what exactly the terms were in their little unspoken agreement. Bahari laughed underneath the growl. "Well, yes, I think we've already covered that, I have no objections about being called a tease."

Bahari's interest spiked when the wherhandler seemed to confirm he could go and have a look at his wher. Oh see, this could be very interesting. The brunet pulled back a bit, turning to land Damion squarely with a look. "Trust you? That's an awful large thing to ask for." Bahari arched his back, pulling that glass of wine to his lips and taking a drink of it. "I think I can manage that for a bit, where should I meet you?" Oh, you know, because he was going to make sure to be a behaving member of the Weyrhold and put his place and glass away, and get those papers of his that he had out back in their proper place before he went gallivanting off to go meet a wher.

Surprised, hm? Well if Bahari kept things up, perhaps he wouldn't be too surprised at the end of it all by the dark things that walked around in his head. The moment Damion was bored was the moment Bahari's life was in serious danger, really, but the brunette didn't need to know that just yet. He didn't need to know who it was he was playing with. Thank whatever crazy dragon they prayed to that he wasn't at Sollace anymore. A little creature like this? Oh he'd have been waist deep in being played before he knew it. With Damion's lips precisely where they were on his pulse, he felt the fraction of a moment where the blood pumped a little stronger. Just a moment, and only a fraction of a movement, but he'd reward it. That feeling of blood moving swifter gained his nails digging in along the seams, one nail at a time, creeping up and down the seam almost innocently.

"You're going to work for it." If Bahari wanted that information, Damion rather thought he was going to make him squirm for it. How high should he set the bar for this little first tidbit? What should be the notion that he rewarded?
"Nothing is free. Information is particularly pricey. But then... you already know that, don't you?" One did not play the game like Bahari was without learning the value of all things gossip, no sir. Damion's choice of movement - lips on his neck and body leaning close - was delibrate. It was a claim. If someone thought they were lovers, that was a good thing, because Damion did not share his toys once they were his. If they didn't, well Damion would simply have to make his claim more obvious.
"You won't hear a complaint. Not unless you start to get boring, but I think you can tell perfectly well I'm not bored."

If Bahari was waiting for a possessive growl, or grand threats, he wasn't going to get them. What he did get was Damion digging those nails of his dangerously close to a rather different seam, a soft hiss splitting the sound between them.
"If she's still alive, perhaps we should test her together sometime. I once knew a man who could do things almost as interesting as knots with his tongue, and a woman who could bend more than she could break. Are we swapping stories, Bahari?" Now if someone else had even looked at his toy, now that would have been different. Bahari might have had games before, but as far as Damion was concerned, he was not to be toyed with now. A few fingers could go missing if anyone tried to take him until he was done anyway.
"I must admit, rope has always been a rather... tame addition to games, at least after I turned eighteen." Unless leaving a person tied down for days or weeks counted. Did that count?

A smirk answered the look he got. Ah trust, wasn't it such a large thing to ask for?
"When it comes to my wher, yes. Trust me, things will be much less... dangerous, if you do." Hadn't Bahari just said he'd do the opposite of whatever Damion told him to do? Oh games were fun, and that was exactly what the wherhandler was counting on.
"Where would you like to meet me? Damiosk will go where he's told, or come when he's told. Not going to run off and do chores first are you?"[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"I do like a good workout if the reward is worth it." Bahari smirked, doing his best to concentrate his focus elsewhere and away from those nails along the seam of his clothing. "And I do know information has quite a pretty price on it, I think I have a few tricks up my sleeve that are worth it." The starcrafter hummed again, content with this situation. "Oh, please, if I do get boring let me know because that would really be something to lament over." Oh like that would happen though. The crafter couldn't help the delighted little shiver that crept up his spine when he felt those fingers continue to move, and why, those pretty blue eyes of his had even fallen into a half open sort of state. Oh this was turning out to be far better than he had imagined.

"On no, no if we're swapping stories we'll be here all night." He laughed off the suggestion, shaking his head a bit. Oh ugh, no, while the thought of doing something like that was Damion was interesting enough there had been a valid reason why that girl was in the past. At least the man wasn't the jealous sort, that was a good mark--although he doubted he would act so unbothered if he had known there was another rider out in the Weyr that he had gotten, ah, a bit chummy with. He shrugged, finally, at the mention of the rope and laughed again. "Oh it's not just the rope, of course that's the tame part. It's what you do while the other is tied up." Oh there was a glitter of amusement in his look he gave the wherhandler ever.

"We'll see about the trust bit, hmmn? I'll definitely keep it in mind." Bahari smiled, a bit too widely despite himself, and tilted his head to the side to roll around an idea to the posed question. "In the weyrbowl, then? It shouldn't take too long, and no I'm not tending to chores. While I do appreciate making a mess when the time's right, I'm also keen on keeping organized." Or at least some sort of organized chaos. The starcrafter turned his head briefly, moving to land his lips in a brief touch against the wherhandler's jawline. "Weyrbowl. I'll be out soon." Briefly Bahari leaned in closer while he arranged himself to step out of his seat before pulling away and taking his things with him, not bothering with a backward glance to see if the handler had looked after him.

Sticking true to his word Bahari did arrive out in the weyrbowl quickly enough. His things had been deposited, and why, the starcrafter had made an important little pit stop by the kitchens finally before his way out. The crafter was of the knowledge not to meet guests empty handed--please, he was raised right, thank you very much--and he extended that formality to guests of other species. He looked just as he had earlier, in that leather doublet and dark trousers. Luckily forgoing the shirt had doubled it's use, seeing he didn't have to roll it up for the particularly messy bit that was now dripping off of one of his arms. His fingers were gripped firmly around the stump of the neck, and the feathered and raw wherry he had was still oozing a bit from having it's head cleanly sliced off. See, Bahari came bearing a little gift, clearly to try and win himself some good points in the wher's book. Shards, every meeting was a game, and Bahari knew how to play plenty well.

"It's worth it." Oh and if Damion actually knew anything. Not telling Bahari anything gave Damion the complete control over the matter. In this case, it would have taken an idiot not to overhear that mess, especially when Damion was attempting to avoid every single member of the sharding leadership for the moment. He didn't need to be recognised, therefore he knew where they all were at all times. Every moment Bahari was watched almost painfully closely, Damion's own ice blue eyes fixed on every muscle twitch.
"I'm not bored."

Oh Bahari, Bahari, if only you knew.

If that girl hadn't been in the past, she certainly would have been by the morning. A slow smirk began on Damion's lips as he watched Bahari as the talk moved on to speak of the rope. He was certainly going to have fun with this toy when he managed to get him pinned where Damion could take his time and play with his toy the way he liked to. Without interruptions. Maybe a place where screams weren't so easy to hear.
"Hm, you're right. I might have to tie your hands quicker than I anticipated." Oh yes, if Damion knew another rider was playing with his toy, that rider would probably have had at least one warning already.

When Bahari's lips pressed briefly against his jawline, Damion's expression became momentarily surprised, but just as quickly back into that smirk.
"Do hurry, he's an impatient sot."

Damiosk was displeased. Anger was practing rolling off the wher as he lunged back away from the hand that might have given him a reassuring pet. The wher's eyes were whirling a rapid, vivid red, and there was a low hissing sound coming from him that most handlers would never want to hear. Damion, however, looked entirely unbothered.
Mine. Was the snarled reprimand, and Damion gave him an utterly irritated look.
"Really? You were asleep!"
Rip. Kill it. Tear it to pieces. DamiMine stinks of it. Rip it. Bathe in blood. Tear it. Eat it. Shred it. Damiosk had never been a very eloquent or intelligent beast, he was as primal as Damion was without the added bonus of evolution. Oh Damion didn't show his possessive nature, but Damiosk was another matter all together.

When Bahari appeared, looking almost delicious, Damiosk let out a dark snarl of pure hate. His movement towards Bahari was in no way unthreatening, and Damion had just moved to plant a solid kick to the wher's backside in reprimand, readying that mental lasso when Damiosk skidded to a halt, curiousity touching those swirling balls of hate at the scent.
... It brings blood. Want it. Give it toy. That blood, your blood. Mine make it give it[/i] Damiosk was now pratically wriggling with eagerness to lunge and Damion settled a cold look on him with a sharp snarl. A look passed between them, and oh to be a fly on the wall in that battle before the wher snarled and flopped onto his stomach.

"Bahari, you look edible." If only he knew what Damiosk had just been thinking, perhaps he'd see the amusement in that statement.
"Meet Damiosk."

Oh, the man had been bonded to a garnet. At the sight of the red hide anyone else might've at the very least paused. Bahari had the unfortunate advantage of knowing his brother's garnet firelizard, so instantly he assumed anything with a red hide was at least twenty-times as volatile as anything normal. He did raise an eyebrow in a sort of unspoken question when he saw Damion land a strike onto the wher. Whers were naturally ugly things, but shards, Damiosk didn't look that unruly. He just looked, well, angry above anything else. Bahari continued to draw neat, his vision settled on the wher coolly as the beast seemed to have a moment with his handler before flopping onto his stomach.

Oh see that, that was almost adorable, in a murder-beast type of way.

"Edible? I do hope that's not the case, I don't think I'd taste nearly as good as this wherry." The starcrafter lifted up the treat he brought, either uncaring of the juices that slipped down his forearm to about his elbow or, shards, he put on a good show of not caring. "Damiosk, you look particularly ravishing. I hope you don't mind I brought a little something for him." He swung the headless wherry a bit, grinning at the wher. "Freshly killed." Oh dear that had a bit of a sing-song tone to it as he spoke. The crafter would've never chanced trying to hand feed the creature, oh no, he had at least some sense of self preservation.

"For you, Damiosk. It's a little messy, but who doesn't like to play a bit with their food." Bahari swing the wherry once before tossing it onto the ground near where the wher had flopped down on. His other clean hand moved to reach around and grab for the rag he had stuffed into one of his back pockets. Baha pulled it out, beginning the process of wiping down his dirty arm, working the fabric even between his fingers as he neared Damion. "Hope you don't mind I took a brief detour, I do dislike arriving empty handed to things."
